Eco-Friendly TDUP will Be Socialized to Resort Owners

Seribu Islands One-Door Integrated Service (PTSP) Unit socializes Eco-friendly Tourism Business Certification (TDUP) for all resort owners in Seribu Islands.

Resort owners must provide coral reefs then tourists will do coral reef transplantation

Seribu Islands PTSP Unit Head, Budi Ismanto said this TDUP is applied due to Seribu Islands coral reefs research report conducted by Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Coordinating Ministry of Marine Affairs.

Seribu Islands People Encouraged to Maintain Marine Ecosystem

"Resort owners must provide coral reefs then tourists will do coral reef transplantation. This is also done to educate the visitors," he stated, Wednesday (5/16).

According to him, this socialization is a part to manage environment cleanliness in order to maintain sea's beauty. Resort owners can't renewal its TDUP if they don't do this thing.

"We will also socialize this regulation to home stay business owners thus they can do t he same thing," he affirmed.
